EMPORIA, Kan. -- Emporia State won five of the six singles matches Saturday to claim a 7-2 non-conference tennis win over the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
The Mavericks fell to 7-2 with the loss, while the Hornets improved to 10-2.
The team of Kesley Haas and Katie Spahn won at No. 2 doubles and No. 1 singles player Rachel Faulk, now 8-1, notched a win. UNO's No. 3 singles player Kylie Roe, suffered her first loss of the season, dropping to 8-1.
UNO will next meet Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, Mo., April 16.
