UNO sophomore guard #Mitch Albers# is the guest of Maverick Roundup, the official podcast of Maverick athletics heard each week at omavs.com. Albers was named the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Athlete of the Week for men's basketball after scoring 58 points in two games last week. In so doing, he set new career highs for points in each game.
Albers and the Mavs host Fort Hays State on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m.
Also this week, UNO hockey head coach #Mike Kemp# talks about the team's upcoming two-game series with Ferris State. The Mavericks begin the week tied with Ohio State and Michigan for fourth place in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association.
