Golfers Idled By Rain at Division II Nationals

FINDLAY, Ohio - Rainy weather has postponed the second day of competition at the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship. The golfers will now play both the second and third rounds (36 holes) on Friday, May 15 beginning at 7 a.m. Central time.
UNO's #Erin Ommen# is tied with eight other golfers for 47th place after the first round. She shot a ten-over-par 82 on Wednesday at the Findlay Country Club. Ommen qualified for the national championship as an individual after finishing fourth overall at the West Regional hosted by UNO at Ironwood Country Club in Omaha.
Late last night, Ommen was named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-Region Team for the West region.
