Mavs Earn NSCAA Team Academic Award

The Nebraska Omaha women's soccer team has earned a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award for its performance in the classroom during the 2010-11 season.
Don Klosterman's squad earned the honor for having a team grade-point average of 3.43 in 2010-11, which is third-best among current Summit League schools. The Mavericks are one of only 572 women's teams in the nation to be honored, which includes Divisions I, II and III.
The Mavs have won the award every year since 2002.
