DES MOINES, Iowa - The UNO women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 match at Drake on Sunday afternoon.
After going into the halftime break scoreless, the Bulldogs (6-2) scored in the 56th and 86th minutes to claim the 2-0 win, dropping the Mavericks to 0-7 on the season.
Drake took a 1-0 lead at 55:36 on an own goal by the Mavericks. Brittany Schuling added an insurance goal at 85:44 after her free kick hit the crossbar and crossed the line.
Drake outshot UNO 16-3 overall and 8-3 in shots on goal. Monica Bosiljevac, Melanie McCormick and Alex Wichman each recorded shots on goal. Meaghan Clark made six saves.
UNO hits the road next weekend for a pair of games in Boise, Idaho against Boise State and Portland State.
