OMAHA, Neb. - Fans of UNO hockey are encouraged to vote for junior left wing Ryan Walters in the first phase of fan ballotting for the 2013 Hobey Baker Award, given each year to the top player in Division I college hockey.
Fan voting opened today at the official Hobey Baker Award website, hobeybakeraward.com, and will remain open until March 10. The second phase of fan voting, which begins on March 22, will include the top 10 finalists for the award. Fan voting accounts for one percent of the total ballot in each phase of the process.
