Mavs Win Second NSCAA Team Academic Award

The Omaha men's soccer team received the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award for 2012-13 after posting a cumulative GPA of 3.23.
To qualify for the award, a team must have a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). The Mavs have earned the award each of the past two years since becoming eligible for the honor.
Both the Maverick men's and women's teams received the award for the second straight year.
