Mavs and Fort Wayne Series Canceled

OMAHA, Neb. - This weekend's softball series with Fort Wayne has been canceled because of the weather conditions and forecast for the weekend.
It's the second weekend in a row that the Mavs have had a home Summit League series canceled, as last week's series with North Dakota State was also called off. UNO also had a March 12 home game against Nebraska postponed to March 26, making it seven straight home games that have been either postponed or canceled.
The Mavericks will hope the weather cooperates for Tuesday's home game against Nebraska at Westside Field at Westbrook at 6 p.m.
