Wampler Selected to National All-Tournament Team

National Championships Best 11
OMAHA, Neb. - UNO women's soccer sophomore forward Hannah Wampler was named to the 2013 USYSA National Championships Best 11 on Monday.
Wampler was the only player selected to the all-tournament team from her club team, LSC EGA Bravo, which won the Region II championship in July and placed fourth at the National Championships later that month.
Four players on the National Championships Best 11 came from the tournament champions from Georgia, NASA 12 Elite II. Four other players were members of So Cal Blues Dido (California-South), while two played for FC Penn Strikers (Eastern Pennsylvania).
Wampler is coming off a Summit League All-Freshman Team season in which she scored three goals with one assist. Fellow Maverick Chelsi Rohloff was also a member of the LSC EGA Bravo and had one goal at the National Championships.
The Mavericks start preseason training on Wednesday, Aug. 7.
