
Bosiljevac Named Summit League Player of the Week

OMAHA, Neb. - Senior midfielder Monica Bosiljevac was named Summit League Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, the conference office announced.
The award was the first career weekly honor for the Omaha Marian product. Bosiljevac scored two goals over the weekend to help the Mavs to an 0-1-1 record.
At Creighton on Friday, Bosiljevac scored a goal in the 52nd minute to tie the match 2-2. Bosiljevac took a pass across the box from Chelsi Rohloff and finished it for her second goal of the season. The Bluejays went on to win the game 3-2. Bosiljevac had a team-high two shots in the game.
On Sunday, Bosiljevac scored the equalizer in the 69th minute to spark the Mavs to a 1-1 draw with Missouri State. Bosiljevac gathered a ball in the center of the pitch 30 yards from goal, created space from a defender and blasted a shot over the keeper's hands for her third goal of the season and second in as many games.
Bosiljevac has a three-game point streak and has all seven of her points this season in the last five matches.
