Omaha Sweeps Summit League Men's Soccer Weekly Awards

ELMHURST, Ill. – Omaha midfielder Mark Moulton was named Summit League men's soccer Offensive Player of the Week while teammate defender Nick Miller was named Defensive Player of the Week following their performances Oct. 20-26.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Mark Moulton, Omaha
Moulton claimed his second career award, both earned this season, after a six-point week that included a game-winner and four-point night. Against defending league champion Denver, Moulton recorded four points and factored into all three Omaha goals in a 3-1 victory. After assisting on the Mavericks' first two tallies, Moulton added a goal. Earlier in the week, Moulton scored the overtime game-winner against Bradley. He leads The Summit League with seven assists and is tied for third with 13 total points.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Nick Miller, Omaha
Miller collected his second career honor and second of the season after leading Omaha to a pair of victories. Against Bradley, Miller led a Maverick defense that recorded an overtime shutout. Facing Denver, Miller scored the game's decisive goal on a header in a 3-1 triumph. During the week, Miller's effort helped extend the Mavs defensive scoreless streak to 280 minutes.
