Carter Named Summit League Player of the Week

OMAHA, Neb. – Senior guard CJ Carter was named The Summit League's Player of the Week following his performance Nov. 17-23, the conference office announced Monday. It was the Omaha Benson product's second weekly league award of his career.
Carter led Omaha to a 97-89 upset of Marquette on Saturday, scoring a season-high 25 points. He had 7-of-13 shooting, including a trio of 3-pointers, and an 8-for-10 effort at the free throw line. Carter also added three assists, two rebounds and two steals in the victory.
Against Seattle last Wednesday, Carter scored 17 points with four assists and two rebounds. For the week, he averaged 21.0 points, 3.5 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game.
