Two Mavs Named to Summit League All-Academic Team

OMAHA, Neb. – Two members of the Omaha women's soccer team were selected to the Summit League Academic All-League Team on Wednesday, the conference office announced.
Chelsi Rohloff and Haley Shelton represented Omaha. Rohloff, a first team all-league pick, has a 3.36 GPA as an exercise science major at UNO. The junior forward had league-highs in goals (10) and points (24) this season with two game-winning goals in 19 matches. A sophomore goalie, Shelton recorded a 1.58 goals against average with three shutouts and 101 saves. The sophomore goalie has a perfect 4.00 GPA as a business administration major.
To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions. The women's soccer all-league team is made up of the 11 student-athletes receiving the most votes with all ties standing.
