Mavs Close Out Road Trip With 7-0 Loss at Miami

Coral Gables, Fla. - The Omaha men's tennis team closed out a eight match road trip with a 7-0 loss to Miami (Fla.) on Tuesday afternoon.
The Mavs finish the road trip 1-7, with the lone victory being a 5-4 match over St. Thomas University (Fla.)
Miami won all three doubles matches, before sweeping all six singles matches in straight sets. Omaha pushed both the Nos. 1 and 2 doubles matches to 6-3 and 4-3, respectively, before being defeated in both matches 8-4.
In singles play, Tyler Mercier and Adam Dockery put up the toughest battle for the host Hurricanes as Mercier lost 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 while Dockery fell 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2.
Omaha returns home on Thursday to face Portland State at 11 a.m. before facing Chicago State on Friday afternoon at 6 p.m.
