Buccaneers Top Mavericks, 7-0

Miami Shores, Fla. - The Omaha men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to top ranked Barry University on Monday afternoon.
The Buccaneers, who are currently ranked first in NCAA Division II and defending national champions, won all three doubles matches before sweeping the singles matches for the 9-0 win. The match was completed under NCAA Division II scoring rules.
Colin Buckley put up the toughest fight at No. 4 singles, winning the first set over Ollie Lemaitre 6-2, before falling in the second and third sets 6-2, 10-5.
Omaha will complete its nine match road trip on Tuesday with two matches at Miami (Fla.). The first match is scheduled for 10 a.m. with the second match starting shortly after the completion of the first.
