
Mavericks Cruise Past Coyotes, 7-0

OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha men's tennis team cruised past Kansas Wesleyan, 7-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Hanscom Brandeis Tennis Center.
The Mavericks improve to 3-3 season (1-1 Summit League), while Kansas Wesleyan drops to 0-2. UNO will complete their two game homestand on Sunday, March 9 against Hastings College at the Hanscom Brandeis Tennis Center at 4 p.m.
The Mavs won both doubles matches and all four singles matches played in straight sets as Kansas Wesleyan only brought four players. Eric McKnight and Adam Dockery beat Leonardo Mendez and Daniel Railsback at No. 1 doubles, 8-1. James McManus and Colin Buckley then won their No. 2 doubles match 8-0 over Luciano Cucinotta and Jonathon Van Brocke. Nathan Greteman and Erik Anderson won the No. 3 doubles match by default.
In singles play, Dockery finished off Mendez at No. 1, 6-1, 6-0. Bucley was victorious over Railsback, 6-3, 6-1, in the No. 2 spot, and Anderson picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win over Van Brocke at No. 3. Greteman then finished the match for the Mavs with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Cucinotta at No. 4 singles, while McManus (No. 5 singles) and Lukas Vanzura (No. 6 Singles) both won by default.
