Mavs Add Two Players Ahead of 2014 Season

OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha men's soccer team has added two more players to its roster, bringing the total to 22 entering preseason training, which begins on Wednesday.
Parker Victor, a transfer from Gonzaga, and Omaha South graduate Noor Hamadi are the newest additions to the Mavericks. They join three other newcomers: Michael Jaime, Quinn Nelson and Andres Irvin.
Victor, a native of Terre Haute, Ind., attended Shattuck-St. Mary's before playing two seasons at Gonzaga. With the Bulldogs, he played in 24 career matches and started 11 starts.
Hamadi helped the Packers to a state championship as a junior with 10 goals. He added eight goals as a senior in 2014 and earned Omaha World-Herald All-Nebraska honorable mention.
The Mavs begin preseason play on Saturday against the UNL Club and Alumni team at 7:30 p.m. at Omaha South's Collin Stadium. It marks the second annual South Omaha Classic.

Transfered to UNO after playing two seasons at Gonzaga...as a sophomore in 2013, played in 12 matches and made eight starts with one assist...helped the Bulldogs to a 10-6-3 overall record and 5-4-3 mark in the West Coast Conference...also played in 12 matches as a freshman and started three...attended Shattuck-St. Mary's Academy in Faribault, Minn., after playing his freshman season at Terre Haute North Vigo High in his hometown of Terre Haute, Ind...Shattuck-St. Mary's is a member of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, winning the Central Conference Frontier Division in 2011-12 with a 10-2-2 conference mark and a 15-5-4 overall record...played for Indiana State Champion club teams Westside United in 2007 and Carmel United in 2008...also won the Vulcan Cup in 2008 with Carmel United...placed third in the ODP National Championship...posted a 3.5 GPA and was on the honor roll his entire high school career.

Scored eight goals and one assist as a senior forward at Omaha South in 2014...earned Omaha World-Herald All-Nebraska honorable mention...helped the Packers win their first state championship as a junior in 2013 with a perfect 23-0 record...recorded 10 goals and two assists...also was the kicker and punter for the Omaha South football team...played club soccer for NFC under coach Paul Harvey.
