OMAHA, Neb. – Chelsi Rohloff and Anna Sibson each had two goals and Courtney Neville had a goal and two assists to lead the Omaha women's soccer team to a 6-2 win over New Mexico State on Sunday afternoon at Caniglia Field.

The Mavericks improved to 2-3-0 this season and in the process, snapped a three-game losing streak.

The Mavericks opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Rohloff knocked in a cross from Nyoke Dumba for her second goal of the season. Lauren Lawler also assisted.

Sibson boosted the Mavs' lead to 2-0 when she knocked in a shot off the crossbar for her first goal of the year.

Sibson figured in on the scoring of UNO's third goal when her cross from the right was fired home by Courtney Neville in the 39th minute.

Rohloff picked up her second goal of the game when she collected a pass from Lydia Holtmann, cut around the goalkeeper and drilled a shot into the empty net in the 49th minute.

The Aggies finally got on the board in the 75th minute when Layla Todd scored on a through ball from Jennae Cambra.

But just 20 seconds later, Ali Engler scored off a breakaway, and Sibson got her second goal a little more than a minute later to make it 6-1. Sibson led all players with five points.

New Mexico State got a late goal from Katie Smith to close the scoring.

Haley Shelton picked up her first win in the UNO goal, making seven saves on nine shots to improve to 1-1-0. The Mavericks led 21-11 in shots and 12-9 in shots on goal. They also had a 12-2 edge in corner kicks.

Omaha is back on the road next weekend, playing the College of Charleston and Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colo. on Sept. 12 and 14.
