Mavs Hit the Road for the Final Time in 2015

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's soccer team visits Tulsa, Okla. for a Sunday afternoon match against Oral Roberts. Kickoff from Case Soccer Complex is set for 1 p.m.
Last weekend, the Mavericks split a pair of Summit League home matches. On Friday, Chelsi Rohloff scored a pair of goals to lead UNO over Western Illinois, 3-1. South Dakota defeated Omaha on Sunday, 2-0. Links to live stats and video streaming are available on OMavs.com.
About Omaha
The Mavs have two regular season matches left in 2015. First, Omaha visits Oral Roberts (8-7-2, 4-2) on Sunday, Oct. 25. UNO wraps up the regular season on Friday, Oct. 30 at home against Denver at 7 p.m.
Chelsi Rohloff leads the team with 15 points off seven goals and an assist this season. Courtney Neville is next on the team with six points on two goals and two assists. Lydia Holtmann has added five points with two goals and an assist.
Goalkeepers Haley Shelton and Katlyn Schochenmaier have split time in goal this season for the Mavericks. Schochenmaier has taken over the starting job this season and has appeared in 14 games with 11 starts. She is 5-7-1 on the season with a 1.52 goals-against average and a .770 save percentage. Schochenmaier has earned two Summit League Defensive Players of the Week this season. Shelton has four starts and a 0-2-1 record with a 2.97 goals-against average and a .633 save percentage.
A Glimpse at the Golden Eagles
Notes:
- Oral Roberts is in second place in the Summit League standings with 12 points. The Golden Eagles knocked off defending champs South Dakota State in overtime on Thursday, 3-2.
- For the season they are 8-7-2 overall and 4-2 in league play. ORU is currently on a three game winning streak.
- Junior forward Tahlor Lyman scored the game winning goal in the 96th minute against SDSU on Thursday.
- Oral Robert head coach Roger Bush is in his third year at the helm of the program.
Players to watch:
Senior forward Kayla Keller leads the team with 16 points on six goals and four assists.
Junior forward Brittney Lawrence has 14 points on six goals and two assists.
- Lawrence was named Summit League Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 14.
Series vs. Oral Roberts
Oral Roberts leads the all-time series 2-0. Last year in Omaha, the Golden Eagles topped UNO in double overtime, 2-1.
