Summit League Volleyball Championship Field Set

OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha volleyball team will make its first appearance at the 2015 Summit League Championship, set for Nov. 20-22 at Hamilton Gymnasium in Denver, Colo. The Mavericks, in their first year with full NCAA Division I postseason eligibility, went 17-12 (12-4 Summit League) during the regular season, clinching the third seed for the tournament. They will face No. 6 seed Oral Roberts on Friday at 8:30 p.m. (CT).
Denver (26-5, 13-3) earned its first outright regular-season championship and the tournament's top seed. IUPUI (21-9, 12-4) will have the No. 2 seed, and both teams earned a quarterfinal bye.
Friday's first quarterfinal will pit No. 4 North Dakota State (18-11, 10-6) and fifth-seeded South Dakota (14-15, 8-8), with first serve scheduled for 6 p.m. (CT). The second quarter final between Omaha (17-12, 12-4) and No. 6 Oral Roberts (14-15, 8-8) will begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. (CT).
Denver will play the winner of No. 4 North Dakota State (18-11, 10-6) and No. 5 South Dakota (14-15, 8-8) in Saturday's semifinals at 6 p.m. (CT), followed by IUPUI facing the winner of Omaha/Oral Roberts at approximately 8:30 p.m. (CT).
The tournament concludes with Sunday's championship match at 3 p.m. (CT). The winner claims league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
All five matches will be televised on Altitude or Altitude 2, where available. Friday's quarterfinals and Saturday's semifinals will also be streamed free online, and the championship match will be available on ESPN3.com
