Mavs Set Record, Open Championships in Third

Indianapolis, Ind. – The Omaha swimming & diving team opened day one of the 2015 Summit League Championships at IUPUI Natatorium in third place with 89 points.
Omaha got off to a striking start with the 1-meter dive, where Millard South product Miranda Knipfer finished third and medaled with a season-best score of 254.40.
The 800 free relay team of freshman Cassie Jahn, sophomore Morgan Stepp, junior Natalie Renshaw and senior Jenna Foiles finished second in the event, setting a new school-best time of 7:29.93.
Day two of the championships will continue Thursday with preliminaries beginning at 10 a.m. CT followed by finals at 5 p.m. CT. The entire championships can be followed via live stats, or on Twitter @summitchamps.
