
UNO Drops to Fourth After Day Two at Championships

Indianapolis, Ind. – The Omaha swimming & diving team continued its trek at the Summit League Championships on Thursday at IU Natatorium, closing day two of competition in fourth place with 172 points.
Sophomore Morgan Stepp led the charge for Omaha as the Parker, Colo., native swam to a school-record time of 2:05.20 in the 200 IM for a fourth-place finish.
Junior Natalie Renshaw helped the Mavs' cause, placing third for a medal in the 50 free with a time of 23.39.
The 200 free relay quartet of Renshaw, senior Jenna Foiles, freshman Cassie Jahn and junior Hannah Johnson finished fourth in the event, finishing with a season-best time of 1:35.39.
Day three of the championships will continue Friday with preliminaries beginning at 10 a.m. CT followed by finals at 5 p.m. CT. The entire championships can be followed via live stats, or on Twitter @summitchamps.
