Summit League Championships (Day 3)
Knipfer Medals Again, Omaha Remains Fourth

Indianapolis, Ind. – The Omaha swimming & diving team took to the pool for the third consecutive day at the Summit League Championships at the IU Natatorium on Friday, closing the day in fourth place overall with 297 points.
Junior diver Miranda Knipfer claimed her second medal of the Championships after a third place finish in the 1-meter dive. The Omaha native penciled in a season-best score of 261.70.
Sophomore Morgan Stepp took the fourth place finish in the 400 IM with a time of 4:24.75, and senior Jenna Foiles placed eighth in the 100 fly, finishing with a time of 57.88.
Junior Natalie Renshaw raced to a season-best time in the prelims of the 200 free with a mark of 1:52.24. The Millard North product took the eighth spot in the finals with a time of 1:53.61. Sophomore Jamie Dhabalt also snagged a season-best time of 1:05.98 in the prelims of the 100 breast. The Omaha Burke product came in eighth in the finals with a time of 1:07.49.
The 400 medley relay team of Stepp, Renshaw, Foiles and freshman Cassie Jahn placed fifth, finishing with a season-best time of 3:53.33.
Day four of the championships will continue Saturday with preliminaries beginning at 10 a.m. CT followed by finals at 5 p.m. CT. The entire championships can be followed via live stats, or on Twitter @summitchamps.
