Baude Named to Academic All-Summit Team

OMAHA, Neb. -- Senior women's tennis player Jacqueline Baude has been named to the 2015 Academic All-Summit Team, the league office announced Wednesday.
A standout academically, Baude owns a 3.87 grade-point average with a major in biology. She has been a member of the Summit League's Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, Distinguished Scholars List and List of Academic Excellence, as well as the UNO Chancellor's List and Dean's List. In the community, Baude has volunteered in the UNMC Radiation Oncology Department and helped run a medical clinic in Guatemala.
On the court, Baude completed her Maverick career in 2014-15, leading Omaha with 10 No. 1 doubles wins. Over four seasons, the Papillion-LaVista South product compiled 25 singles wins and 34 doubles victories, the latter of which put her at ninth in school history.
