Nine Mavericks Tabbed ITA Scholar-Athletes

OMAHA, Neb. – Nine Omaha women's tennis players were recognized as ITA Scholar-Athlete award winners for 2014-15 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, the organization has announced.

Award winners included Jacqueline Baude, Kenzie Hill, Maddie Holscher, Allison Johnson, Michelle Lo, Molly Matricardi, Hylan Miller, Rachel Skolaski and Rebecca Stafford. Omaha tied for the national lead with its nine honorees, matching Alabama and Liberty. As a team, the Mavericks compiled a 3.78 cumulative GPA at the conclusion of the 2014-15 academic year.

ITA Scholar-Athlete accolades are presented annually to student-athletes who meet the following criteria: 1) be a varsity letterwinner, 2) have a grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale for the academic year and 3) have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters (including freshman through senior year).
