Women's Golf Heads To Oral Roberts

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's golf team will take part in the Bob Hurley Shootout at Oral Roberts on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 28-29, in Tulsa, Okla.
This will be the second tournament of the fall season for the Mavericks. They're coming off an eighth-place finish at the Coyote Classic hosted by South Dakota on Tuesday.
The Mavericks finished with a three-round team score of 1,025 in their first event of the season. Megan Vetrovsky led the Mavericks in scoring with a total of 247, putting her in a tie for 22nd overall.
Freshman Jordan York, in her first collegiate tournament, was second for the Mavericks and 36th overall with a score of 259. Katie Kesti was third for UNO and tied for 38th overall, shooting a 54-hole score of 261.
Alexa Ruwe as fourth for the Mavericks and in 43rd overall at 270, and Makenna Kroeker was 44th at 274.
Following play at Oral Roberts, the Mavericks will play closer to home at the Chip-N Club Invitational at Nebraska on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 5-6.
