Miller Named Summit League Player of the Week

OMAHA, Neb. – Junior Hylan Miller was named the Summit League Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performance Feb. 9-15, the conference office announced Tuesday. It marks her second career player-of-the-week award and her first this season.
The Elkhorn, Neb., native earned singles and doubles victories in Omaha's Feb. 10 match at Creighton. At No. 2 singles, Miller defeated Katherine Nelson in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1. At No. 1 doubles, she teamed with sophomore Michelle Lo to defeat Ashley Ishimura and Darby Rosette, 6-1. Miller now owns a 4-1 singles record and a 4-2 doubles mark.
