
Omaha Visits Creighton in Midweek Action

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's tennis team visits in-state rival Creighton this week, facing the Bluejays on Wednesday, Feb. 10. The match is at 12:30 p.m. at Hanscom Park Tennis Center.
Omaha enters the match with a record of 4-3. The Mavericks are coming off of a flawless 3-0 weekend, having swept Green Bay (7-0), Hastings (6-1), and Doane (7-0) at Miracle Hill Golf and Tennis Center last Friday.
Junior Kenzie Hill leads UNO with four singles wins on the year, holding a record of 4-3. Sophomore Michelle Lo and junior Hylan Miller own a team-leading three doubles victories with a perfect 3-0 record at the No. 1 position.
Creighton enters the week with a season mark of 1-3. CU has dropped contests to Missouri State (5-2), Nebraska (6-1) and Drake (6-1), while the 'Jays picked up their lone win against Green Bay, 5-0.
Creighton leads the all-time series with Omaha 10-0. The two teams last squared off on April 11, 2015, with CU winning 5-2.
Omaha returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 27 for its Summit League opener, welcoming Oral Roberts at Miracle Hill Golf and Tennis Center at 9 a.m.
