
Miller Earns Academic All-Summit Nod

OMAHA, Neb. -- Junior Hylan Miller was one of five student-athletes selected to the 2016 Academic All-Summit Women's Tennis Team, the league office announced Tuesday. The team is determined by a vote of faculty athletic representatives and sports information directors from the league's member institutions.
Miller owns a 3.92 grade-point average with a major in studio art and a minor in art history. The Elkhorn, Neb., native is a member of the Summit League's Academic Honor Roll and Distinguished Scholars List, as well as the UNO Dean's List.
On the court, Miller went 7-7 in singles matches and 10-9 in doubles play this season.
To be eligible for Academic All-Summit recognition, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of her team's competitions.
