Erin Dimon Tabbed Academic All-Summit

OMAHA, Neb. – Senior midfielder Erin Dimon earned a spot on the 2017 Summit League Women's Soccer Academic All-League Team, the conference office announced Wednesday. A total of 13 student-athletes were named to the team and honored for their academic and athletic performances this season.
Dimon appeared in all 17 games, including 16 starts, and played in 1,368 minutes. She totaled eight shots with five being on goal.
Dimon, having carried a 3.97 grade-point average, will graduate with her bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in chemistry in May 2018. She is a member of the Summit League Academic Honor Roll and Distinguished Scholars List, as well as the UNO Chancellor's List and Dean's List.
To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions. The #SummitWSOC all-league team is made up of the 11 student-athletes receiving the most votes with all ties standing.
