
Mavericks 11th After Day One in Arkansas

MAUMELLE, Ark. – The Omaha women's golf team is in 11th place after the first two rounds of the Little Rock/Arkansas State Invitational on Monday.
The Mavericks shot team rounds of 327 and 322 over the first 36 holes at the Maumelle Country Club for a total of 649. Central Arkansas leads the tournament with a score of 590. Co-host Little Rock and Texas El Paso are tied for second at 610.
Megan Vetrovsky leads the Mavericks in scoring and is in a tied for 21 in the 77-player field with a score of 154 to included rounds of 80 and 74. That puts her three strokes ahead of Mandy Boyle who is second on the team and tied for 30th. She shot rounds of 77 and 80 to put her at 157.
Jordan York shot matching rounds of 84 for a total of 168 that has her third on the team and tied for 64th overall. She's two strokes ahead of teammate Samantha Chong who went 86-84-170, good for a tie for 67th.
Sami Langford completed the scoring for the Mavericks with a score of 175 that featured rounds of 91 and 84.
Haley Wineman and Morgan Miller, playing as individuals, shot 176 and 182 respectively.
The final round begins Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
