Maverick Serve-A-Thon Women's Tennis Fundraiser Set for Jan. 12

OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha women's tennis team will host its second annual Maverick Serve-A-Thon fundraiser on Friday, Jan. 12 at Miracle Hill Golf and Tennis Center.
The 2017-18 Maverick squad will hit 1,000 serves during the event, with supporters pledging a designated amount per serve made. Funds raised will support the program's travel budget and equipment purchases.
Checks may be made payable to the University of Nebraska Foundation, designating Omaha Women's Tennis (01117190), and should be submitted by Friday, Feb. 2. Online donations are open at NUFoundation.org.
