Lo Named Summit League Women’s Tennis Player of the Week

OMAHA, Neb. – Senior Michelle Lo was named Summit League Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performances in last Friday's doubleheader in Chicago, the conference office announced on Tuesday. Lo claims Omaha's second straight weekly league award, following freshman Marie Kapelevich, who earned the award last week.
Lo earned her second career player of the week honor after going a combined 4-0 in doubles and singles competition against Chicago State and Oakland. Lo and her No. 1 doubles partner Janelle Wilson won both of their matches, 6-2 against CSU and 6-1 against OU. In singles play, the Hong Kong, China, native defeated Mariya Kostyuk of Chicago State, 6-7 (3-7), 6-2, 6-4, then derailed Oakland's Dasha Artamonova, 6-3, 6-4.
For the season, Lo owns a 5-6 singles record and an 8-2 doubles record.
