Round 1-2 Results

NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. – Sophomore Sami Langford led the Omaha women's golf team in scoring on the second day of play at the Summit League Championship at ArborLinks on Monday.

Langford fired a team tournament-low score of 76 in the middle round of the 54-hole event to put her at 161 through 36 holes. She's tied with teammate Mandy Boyle for 27th in the field of 40 golfers. Boyle carded an 81 on Monday after a round of 80 on Sunday.

Jordan York is third on the team with a total of 164. She shot 84 in round two and is currently tied for 32nd. Megan Vetrovsky is one stroke back at 165 after firing a round of 83 on Monday. She's tied for 34th.

Samantha Chong closed the scoring for UNO with a card of 85 that puts her at 168 for the tournament.

The Mavericks shot a team score of 324 in round two and sit at 647 for the tournament, good for seventh place. North Dakota State leads the championship with a score of 580, four over par. Denver is second at 593, and South Dakota moved up to third with a tally of 611.

The final round begins at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
