Women's Tennis Announces Third Annual Serve-A-Thon

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's tennis program will host its third annual Maverick Serve-A-Thon fundraiser Friday, Jan. 11 at Miracle Hill Tennis Center.
The 2018-19 Maverick squad will hit 1,000 serves during the event, with supporters pledging a designated amount per serve made. Funds raised will support the program's travel budget and equipment purchases.
Checks may be made payable to the University of Nebraska Foundation, designating Omaha Women's Tennis (01117190), and should be submitted by Saturday, Feb. 2. Online donations are open at NUFoundation.org.
Over the past two years, the Maverick Serve-A-Thon has raised over $3,000. A donor form and event information can be found on the document attached. Any donors who wish to pledge and/or have any questions should contact head coach Adam Summitt via email at asummitt@omavs.com.
The Mavericks open the season with a pair of home matches at Miracle Hill Tennis Center Friday, Jan. 18 against Air Force and Sunday, Jan. 20, against Northern Iowa.
