Kaitlyn Guhl Tabbed Academic All-Summit

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sophomore defender Kaitlyn Guhl earned a spot on the 2019 Summit League Women's Soccer Academic All-League Team, the league office announced on Tuesday.
A total of 13 student-athletes were named to the team and honored for their academic and athletic performances this season.
Guhl played in all 18 matches for the Mavericks, including 13 starts while helping anchor the Omaha defense that posted four shutouts and held opponents to one goal or less in 13 matches.
The Houston, Texas, native holds a 4.0 grade-point average in biomechanics and was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 Second Team earlier this fall.
To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one fully academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions. The all-league team is made up of the 11 student-athletes receiving the most votes with all ties standing.
