Wilson Selected as Summit League Player of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha senior Janelle Wilson was selected as The Summit League Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday, March 5.
Over the weekend, Wilson went 1-1 in singles with a 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (10-6) victory over Chicago State at No. 1. She also went a 1-0 in doubles action with teammate Emily Behling. The duo defeated Chicago State 6-4 and later on against Marquette, they were ahead 6-5, in No. 2 doubles before the match went unfinished.
The honor marks the second of her career.
The Mavericks open conference play at Denver next Friday, March 15. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m. (CST).
