Women’s Soccer Adds One to 2019 Roster

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha women's soccer coach Tim Walters announced the signing of Nicole Morgans to a National Letter of Intent to join the Mavericks for the 2019 season.

"In Nicole, we have an athletic center back, who is composed passing out of the back and can cover an incredible amount of ground," said Walters. "She is a late bloomer, and we are thrilled to get a player of her quality so late in the recruiting cycle."

The native of San Marcos, Calif., is a three-year letterwinner at Mission Hills High School. Morgans is a two-time all-league selection and a four-year academic award winner. She also was named the Grizzlies' defensive player of the year two times.

Morgans joins a talented class of newcomers joining the Mavericks this fall. Walters previously announced the additions of Maria Eubanks, Laurin Mertz, Avery Ripple, Grace Thede, and Regan Zimmers.
