OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha men's and women's tennis programs will host the annual Maverick Serve-A-Thon fundraiser Friday, Jan. 17 at Miracle Hill Tennis Center.
The 2019-20 Maverick squads will hit 1,000 serves during the event, with supporters pledging a designated amount per serve made. Funds raised will support the program's travel budget and equipment purchases.
Checks may be made payable to the University of Nebraska Foundation, designating Omaha men's and/or women's tennis (see attached form). The deadline to submit is Monday, Feb. 3. Online donations are open at NUFoundation.org.
This year, a pledge of $100 or more will include a free Omaha Tennis hoodie.
Over the past three years, the Maverick Serve-A-Thon has raised over $6,000. A donor form and event information can be found on the document attached. Any donors who wish to pledge and/or have any questions should contact Director of Tennis Adam Summitt via email at asummitt@omavs.com.
