Mavericks Wrap Fall Season at Missouri State

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's golf team will play its final tournament of the fall when it visits Missouri State for the MSU Stewart Memorial on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 19-20.
The tournament will feature 36 holes on Monday at 18 more on Tuesday at the Twin Oaks Country Club in Springfield, Mo. Play begins each day at 9 a.m.
The Mavericks are coming off a second-place finish at their own tournament, the Maverick Invitational at The Creek, held last Monday and Tuesday at The Club at Indian Creek.
Sophomore Mandi Granato was the individual medalist, posting a 54-hole score of 228, three strokes clear of the second-place finisher. Granato has led the Mavericks in both fall tournaments.
Hannah Hunke finished second for the Mavericks and fifth overall with a score of 234.
Freshman Jinna Boonbumroongsuk was third in team scoring and ninth overall with a score of 246. Zora Gittens was fourth on the team at 253, and Izzi Puk completed the team scoring with a total of 262.
Mika Miyata, playing as an individual, was 10th overall with a total of 248.
