The Basics
The Omaha men's basketball team closes out non-conference play this Tuesday, Dec. 29, traveling to Kansas State. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kan.

Scouting the Kansas State Wildcats
Kansas State enters Tuesday's game with a record of 4-5 (1-1 Big 12) after defeating Jacksonville 70-46 at home on Dec. 21 -- KSU's third in win four games. Nijel Pack led three Wildcats in double figures, finishing with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting with four 3-pointers, six rebounds, five assists and two steals. DaJuan Gordon had a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds, and Mike McGuirl added 12 points.
K-State finished the 2019-20 campaign at 11-21 (3-15 Big 12) and was picked 10th in the Big 12's 2020-21 preseason poll.
Head coach Bruce Weber is in his ninth season in Manhattan with a record of 165-115 and carries a career mark of 478-270 over 23 years.
All-Time Against K-State
Kansas State holds a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series with Omaha. The Mavericks and Wildcats last met in Manhattan on Nov. 15, 2016, when K-State won 81-68.
Battling the Big 12
Tuesday's meeting with Kansas State is the first of two games against Big 12 competition this season, as the Mavericks previously faced No. 5 Kansas on Dec. 11. Omaha is 0-10 against members of the conference since 2011-12.

• Wanjang Tut tied his career high with four blocks at Wyoming (Dec. 17), which moved him up to 15th on Omaha's career blocks list.
• Tut averaged 15.7 ppg and 5.0 rpg with 59.4% shooting over the last three games at Kansas, Colorado and Wyoming. Over the first six games of the year, he had averaged 7.5 ppg and 4.5 rpg on 46.5% shooting.
