Women's Soccer Releases 2020 Schedule

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha women's soccer head coach Tim Walters announced the 2020 schedule on Wednesday. The Mavericks' upcoming season includes 10 home contests, including one exhibition match.
"We are very excited with how our 2020 schedule came together," said Walters. "It is a very balanced schedule with tough road fixtures and a number of quality opponents coming to Caniglia Field. This schedule is going to challenge our team while providing some exciting matches at Caniglia as we return to sports this fall."
The exhibition portion of the schedule includes a home match at Caniglia Field on Aug. 9 against Nebraska and a road match at Kansas State on Aug. 15.
The Mavericks begin the regular season with a pair of road matches at UC San Diego on Aug. 20 and Grand Canyon on Aug. 22.
Omaha opens play at home with a two-match weekend, hosting Northern Illinois on Friday, Aug. 28 and Iowa State on Sunday, Aug. 30.
Other home non-conference matches include Wyoming (Sept. 13), UNI (Sept. 18) and Dixie State (Sept. 26).
In Summit League action, the Mavericks are set to host South Dakota State (Oct. 4), Oral Roberts (Oct. 15), Western Illinois (Oct. 18) and North Dakota (Oct. 25).
The Summit League Championship will be held on Nov. 5-7 in Denver, Colo.
