OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha men's basketball team's upcoming weekend home series with Western Illinois has been moved up one day to Feb. 5-6 and adjusted to 7 p.m. start times, it was announced Sunday.
Originally set for a Saturday/Sunday series, Omaha and WIU's men's teams will now square off at Baxter Arena on Friday and Saturday. The Maverick and Leatherneck women's teams will play as originally scheduled on Feb. 6-7.
Socially-distanced single-game tickets for all home events in the month of February are currently available for public purchase. Tickets must be secured in advance online from Ticketmaster.com or OMavs.com/MyMav or charged by phone at (402) 554-MAVS. Baxter Arena also will admit fans with mobile tickets on the "Omaha Mavericks Athletics" app. There will be no walkup sales permitted at the Baxter Arena Box Office.
