Mavericks Finish Fourth At Stampede

Elkhorn, Neb.- The Omaha women's golf team placed 4th at the Stampede at the Creek after the final round Tuesday.Â
The Mavericks shot 293 in the final round, and finish with a total score of 926. North Dakota State wins the tournament with a team score of 899. Creighton is the runner-up with 908, and Weber State finishes third with 914.Â
Jinna Boonbumroongsuk finished the third round two under par. The sophomore finishes with a total of 226, in 5th place on the leaderboard.Â
Junior Mandi Granato finishes in second on the team with 231 after scoring an even par in the third round. She ends the tournament in 15th place.Â
Sydney Taake finishes the invite with a score of 232. The freshman shot two over in the final round to take 20th place overall.Â
Sophomore Mika Miyata ended round three five over. She finishes the tournament in 25th place with a total score of 237.Â
Zora Gittens finishes with a total score of 260 for the tournament. The senior takes 47th place on the leaderboard.Â
Golfing individually; Freshman Emma Kirvan finished the third round six over for a total score of 246.Â
Maddie Simon finishes with a score of 251. The freshman shot ten over in the final round.Â
Junior Izzi Puk shot seven over in round three for a two day total of 253.Â
Cassidy Ulrich ends the tournament with a total score of 261. The senior shot 89 in the third round.Â
Omaha will stay in town for the Creighton Classic next Monday and Tuesday, October 11-12.Â
