The Basics
The Mavericks continue a five-game home stand with their second of the week on Saturday, Dec. 4. Omaha will tipoff vs. Eastern Washington at 12 p.m. and look for its first win at Baxter Arena. The Eagles dropped two of their last three and look to rebound with a win.

• The Mavericks will play their second of five straight games at Baxter Arena vs. the Eagles. Omaha looks to snap a losing streak and pick up its first win on their home court.
• Kyle Luedtke scored a career-high 21 points vs. SIUE despite the 75-65 loss to the Cougars. He was 6-of-9 from the field and 6-of-9 from the line. He hit three from long range.
• Omaha went down 31 to SIUE but used a 21-0 run in the second half to get within six. Late free throws helped clinch the Cougar win.

Scouting the Eastern Washington Eagles
The Eagles are 3-4 heading into the weekend. They played a home game vs. Southern Utah on Dec. 2 before heading east to Omaha. Despite the 89-76 loss, Steele Venters scored 29 for EWU. He was 9-of-17 from the field with six three pointers. Rylan Bergersen added 15 points, six boards, and seven assists. Steele leads the Eagles with 18.9 ppg. He's shooting 53 percent from the field and over 47 percent from long range in his seven starts.
Southern Utah dropped its first two games of the season to Nevada and UC Davis before posting back-to-back wins vs. Walla Walla and CSUN. The Eagles then dropped a game to Texas State before winning 76-71 vs. Washington State.
Head coach David Riley is in his first season at the helm. He has a 3-3 record to start the year. Riley has been with the program for 11 seasons. He spent eight as an assistant and served as a director of operations prior to coaching responsibility.
