Mavericks Head To Missouri State This Week

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha men's golf team will be at Missouri State for the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday, March 22-23.
The tournament features 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday from the Twin Oaks Country Club in Springfield, Mo. Play begins at 8:30 a.m. each day.
The Mavericks are coming off the GCU Invitational on Tuesday in Phoenix, Ariz. They finished in a tie for 13th place with a team score of 882, tying them with Summit League neighbor South Dakota in the 16-team field.
Junior Noah Hartman led the Mavericks in scoring with a total of 219, the lowest 54-hole score shot by a Maverick this season. He tied for 32nd overall in the field of 93 players.
Jacob Zerby was second on the team and in a tie for 37th overall with a score of 220. Zerby finished two strokes ahead of teammate Josh Bartels who posted a total of 222 to tie for 45th place.
Josh Peters was fourth on the team and in a tie for 63rd with a score of 225. Mathew Halvorson finished the scoring for the Mavericks with a total of 227, tying for 73rd overall.
After play at Missouri State, the Mavericks will travel to Western Illinois for the Beau Mussatto Invitational on April 4-5.
