Gordon Tabbed Academic All-League for Third Consecutive Season

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Ed Gordon represents Omaha men's soccer on the 2021 Academic All-League Team, the league announced Monday. This marks the third career honor for Gordon.
The Omaha native posted a 3.89 GPA as a business administration major and earned his degree this spring. Gordon previously earned Academic All-League accolades in 2018 and 2019.
The senior midfielder was named a CoSIDA Academic All-District Team member in 2018 and 2019. He is also a three-time Summit League Honor Roll honoree and a Summit League Commissioner's list of Academic Excellence member.
Gordon played in 11 matches this spring and made four starts. He logged over 500 minutes on the pitch for Omaha. He played a season-high 93 minutes at Oral Roberts in Omaha's 2-1 overtime win. Gordon finished the season with two shots and one shot on goal. Gordon was also named a 2020-21 team captain.
