Daves, Guhl Tabbed Academic All-League Team Honorees

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Andrea Daves and Kaitlyn Guhl landed on the Summit League Women's Soccer Academic All-League Team, the league announced on Monday.
This marks the first Academic All-League honor for Daves, and the second career honor for Guhl.
Daves boasts a 3.96 GPA as she finished her degree in neuroscience this spring. As a Maverick, Daves is a three-time Summit League Academic Honor Roll honoree and a member of the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.
The Colorado Springs native started 17 matches this season totaling five goals, two assists, 20 shots, 12 shots on goal, and two game winners. With her two assists this season, Daves moved to first in the Division I books as the program's leader in career-assists with 11.
Guhl picks up her second career Academic All-League Team accolade after posting a 4.00 GPA as a biomechanics major. The junior defender was named to the 2019 Academic All-League Team. She is also a two-time member of the Summit League Academic Honor Roll and earned a Second Team CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 nod in 2019.
Guhl played 17 matches and started 14 this season logging over 1,100 minutes on the pitch. The Houston, Texas native helped the Mavericks post nine shutouts on the year. She recorded on assists this season at Denver.
