The Omaha baseball team resumes Summit League action this weekend, hosting Oral Roberts at Tal Anderson Field on Friday-Sunday, May 14-16. The Mavericks and Golden Eagles will play a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 3 p.m. and singles games on Saturday and Sunday. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The Mavericks will hold the official dedication of Tal Anderson Field approximately 10 minutes before first pitch on Saturday while Omaha will honor its nine seniors with Senior Day prior to the series finale on Sunday.

Around the Horn

Omaha is 19-19 (11-8 Summit League) on the season after last weekend's series at North Dakota State in Fargo.
Eduardo Rosario leads Omaha with a .370 batting average, followed by Mike Boeve (.320) and Chris Esposito (.316).
Esposito has a team-high three triples, seven home runs and 36 RBI with 29 runs scored this season.
Joey Machado is 4-3 on the season with a 2.81 ERA and 53 strikeouts while Richie Holetz is 3-2 in 11 starts with a 3.41 ERA and team-high 56 strikeouts.
As a team, Omaha is hitting .268 with 226 runs, 331 hits, 67 doubles, nine triples and 29 home runs this season.

Scouting the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles
The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles enter this weekend's series with a 23-19 overall record and 14-5 mark in Summit League play after posting a series win vs. Western Illinois last weekend in Tulsa. Ryan Cash leads ORU at the plate, hitting .312 with 12 doubles, a triple, three homers and 37 RBI. Jake McMurray is hitting a team-high .323 while Joshua Cox has 12 doubles, two triples and four home runs while hitting .317 at the plate.

Isaac Coffey is 7-1 on the mound in 11 starts on the season with a 2.90 ERA and 75 strikeouts in 68.1 innings. Evan Kowalski is 6-2 with a 3.23 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 12 appearances this season.

As a team, the Golden Eagles are hitting .281 with 278 runs, 399 hits, 75 doubles, nine triples and 30 home runs in 42 games. The Oral Roberts pitching staff has a combined ERA of 4.48 with 316 strikeouts while allowing 216 runs, 180 earned, on 343 hits in 361.1 innings.

Head coach Ryan Folmar is in his ninth season at Oral Roberts and has a record of 273-186 with the Golden Eagles.
