Olesen Named College Soccer News All-Freshman Third Team

OMAHA, Neb. - Mia Reedtz Rehde Olesen is named College Soccer News All-Freshman Third Team, the organization announced Friday morning. This marks the second All-Freshman honor the goalkeeper received this week. She was named to the Top Drawer Soccer Freshmen Top-100 earlier this week.
Olesen goalkeeper made 12 starts in goal for the Mavericks and logged over 1,100 minutes between the pipes. She's posted seven shutouts on the year. Olesen is second in the league with a .797 goals against average and seven shutouts. Olesen's seven shutouts ranks first in Division I single-season records, while her six wins ranks second.
She adds this honor to her 2020-21 award list. The Stensballe, Denmark native was named United Soccer Coaches All-West Region First Team, the Summit League Goalkeeper of the Year, All-Summit First Team, and All-Summit Newcomer Team earlier this year.
